Shop for Charity: Pride

Pride Portage is "a passionately local movement to help openly celebrate individuality, diversity, and community in a safe, accepting environment." It was difficult to find a pride-centred organization, I even had to reach out and make sure this one accepted donations (they do). But that is exactly why we need it.

Instead of Canada-wide charities / non-profits, I picked (through my own research) non-profits local to my town, Portage la Prairie, that I wanted to give back to. These are all organizations that focus on underrepresented communities, aren't anti-2SLGBTQIA+, and are actively making a difference for those living in the community. I also looked for those that accept cash donations, as that is what I'll be giving. I've done a fair amount of research, but if there are any concerns you want to bring up please reach out any time at arkxarrow@gmail.com. Sometimes there are red flags that I miss. 
The community of Portage la Prairie is what has made my dream a reality, with locals making up over 75% of my customer base, and almost 100% of customers being Manitoban. This is my attempt to ensure that the love and support I have received is getting spread around and isn't just sitting with me. I put none (I repeat none) of the profit in my pocket. I am not making money on ANY Shop for Charity product. I pay for the bare minimum cost of the materials, and send the rest off to the listed non-profit / charity / you get the point.
